- Dutch TTF: $66.29/MWh (-8.58%)

Analysis¶
July 27 showed the crisis creating permanent structural changes. Key signals:
- MRPL tender — first institutional formalization that both chokepoints are closed; routing restrictions = new normal
- Saudi bifurcation — crude now splitting by ownership: Chinese = direct, Western = Suez/Cape (3x longer, $10M+ more)
- CPC restart — one chokepoint resolved but demonstrated vulnerability of non-Middle East supply
- EU gas -8% — market extremely sensitive to de-escalation signals; but structural storage crisis remains
- Russia diesel ban — still in effect; compounding global diesel squeeze even as refineries restart
The structural damage to global supply chains was becoming visible in formal tenders, pricing mechanisms, and routing decisions.
